'I loves ya Queenie babe?' ... 'Yeah and I love you too Mummsie.'
We are not sure if we have three honorary Great Danes or several honorary Bulldogs!
I had looked into getting my first pedigree dog at the age of 18 and the breed I was interested in was the Bulldog, but for one resason or another, it just never happened.Over the years (and there have been a few!) my love for the breed has never wained and I would every now and then take a peek at some pups and dream on.
Then one day Neates caught me checking out some pups on the internet and after some considerable discussion we made plans to get our first Bulldog pup. We phoned our good friend Kenny who lives in Brimingham and asked if he would come and baby sit for us. Without hesitation he said he would be here and we started on our trip to Norfolk to look at a pup.
We met a lovely couple and in every sense we were bowled over by their fabulous Bulldogs. We were amazed and were totally won over, hook, line and sinker with the pup, we were absolutely smitten! 11 1/2 hours later and at 3 o'clock in the morning, we returned to our cottage with our bundle of pure joy. We introduced our Maisie to Kenny and all our big girls and boys, who were all still up waiting for us to come home!
Come and say hello to new baby boy and of course our girls...
